Resolution / Zigelbaum + Coelho

Zigelbaum + Coelho will be creating a new work for permanent exhibition at the Tech Museum in San Jose to debut with the ZERO1 Biennial. It will be an amorphous, tangible, social, and highly interactive piece. Building on themes from Six-Forty by Four-Eighty it will allow visitors to the museum to explore, play, and create their own light compositions from magnetic, physical pixels.

Zigelbaum + Coelho is a studio founded by Jamie Zigelbaum and Marcelo Coelho. Operating at the intersection of design, technology, science, and art, their work utilizes physical, computational, and cultural materials in the service of creating new, but fundamentally human, experiences. They have exhibited internationally in venues including Ars Electronica, Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Creators Project, DHub Museum, Biennale Internationale de Saint-Etienne, Design Miami/, Toronto Design Exchange, LACMA, as well as contemporary art and design galleries such as Johnson Trading and Riflemaker.
