Dooeun Choi, the former creative director of Art Center Nabi (Seoul, Korea), started working as an independent curator in 2012. Her current projects include Mediacity Seoul 2012 (Seoul, Korea) and the 2012 ZERO1 Biennial. Since 2011, she has been a visiting scholar at Parsons The New School for Design (New York) and has run the project, Butterfly Effect: Digital Art & Archiving, based on cross-cultural views. Since 2003, she has curated numerous international media art exhibitions. She was appointed as the artistic director of the Uijeongbu International Digital Art Festival (Uijeongbu, Korea). She has also curated exhibitions in Kyoto, Beijing, Madrid, Geneva, Enghien-les-Bains (France) and many other cities across Korea. Since 2004, her ongoing interests include urban screen art projects such as COMO and Come Join Us, Mr. Orwell! in Korea, Australia, the U.S. and U.K.
